Terms of Use
Last updated: November 1, 2026
By using Lire you agree to these terms.
Use of the app
Lire is provided for personal language learning. You may use it on devices you own or control. You are responsible for the books and text you import and must have the right to use them.
Content and licences
Lire's dictionary data comes from open sources, including Wiktionary, Lexique, Lefff, DELA and Tatoeba, used under their own licences (such as CC BY-SA and CC BY). Credits are listed in the app under Settings → Sources. Those licences apply to that data.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Dictionary entries, conjugations and example sentences come from community sources and may contain errors. Do not rely on Lire for legal, medical or other professional translation.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of study data. Back up your device to protect it.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the current version is always at this address. Continued use means you accept the changes.
